A big "thank you" to Mr. Don Anderson of Edgewood, NM for allowing us to use this chart study. The chart is  a sampling of the various Andrews techniques and rules that Don learned while he was a Pitchfork Primer course member -- the very same rules and techniques that Dr. Andrews taught in his original action/reaction study course many years ago.

During one of his seminars held in Miami for course members, Dr. Andrews said that each day, after the markets closed, he updated the prices on all of his charts.Then he reviewed and updated the various studies on each chart. While I was a course member of his, Dr. Andrews sent me chart studies that looked much like Don's, except all of the notes and drawings were done by hand. No personal computers in those days.

Most traders have personal computers now days that do the charting legwork and technical indicator studies for them, but many admit that good old fashioned chart-studying is still hard to beat. Dr. Andrews' techniques call for a lot of that, and course members like Don Anderson agree that it is time well spent.
